Porcelain Superstore Introduces Large Format Cotto Tiles for Calm, Characterful Spaces

A new tile collection from independent retailer Porcelain Superstore is bringing the charm of the Mediterranean to British homes.

Capturing the gentle warmth of sun-baked clay, Parador Cotto brings a relaxed natural character to any space.

Its large format size offers a contemporary look that works beautifully across both floors and walls, creating a calm, uninterrupted surface in living rooms and kitchens, while in bathrooms it brings comfort without feeling heavy.

Abbas Youssefi, Managing Director of Porcelain Superstore, said: “Tiles have a huge influence on the way a room feels, and the new Parador Cotto collection has been designed to bring instant warmth, softness and character into the home.

“The terracotta tones tap into that timeless Mediterranean look people love, but in a way that feels refined and easy to live with. It has the relaxed feel of a villa floor or a rustic coastal retreat, but with a cleaner, more contemporary finish that works beautifully in modern homes.”

Finished in an earthy terracotta shade, each tile has soft variation to give that authentic Mediterranean character. But because it’s made from durable porcelain, it’s perfect for busy modern homes and requires little upkeep.

Abbas added: “Warm, earthy tiles are brilliant for adding soul to a space and what makes this collection so appealing is that it delivers the charm of traditional terracotta without the maintenance.”

While the tile was designed for indoor walls and floors, for those who want to carry the look into their outside space, Parador Cotto can also be used on exterior walls.

Parador Cotto is available now from Porcelain Superstore, priced at £28.80 per m2.
