Regatta Season Inspires Painterly New Wall Art Collection from Beach House Art

An independent art studio is channelling the majesty of regatta season in a new wall art collection.

Coastal-inspired design house Beach House Art has captured the spirit and serenity of sailing spectaculars in a six-strong collection depicting the majesty of sailboats.

Based on original artwork exclusive to Beach House Art, each piece taps into the tradition, elegance and energy of historic nautical galas.

The launch comes as homeowners increasingly look for artwork that does more than simply fill a wall, with a growing appetite for pieces that feel nostalgic and characterful. Handcrafted artwork, visible brushstrokes and painterly finishes are also helping interiors feel more individual, while coastal-inspired design continues to evolve beyond traditional seaside motifs into something calmer, more sophisticated and story-led.

Brian MacShane, Co-Founder of Beach House Art, said: “People are becoming much more considered about the artwork they choose for their homes. It is no longer just about filling a blank wall; it is about finding pieces that have atmosphere, personality and a story behind them.

“This collection was inspired by the quiet elegance of regatta season and the timeless appeal of sailing boats on the water. There is something incredibly evocative about sails catching the breeze, the rhythm of the tide and the sense of movement across open water. We wanted each piece to capture that feeling in a way that felt fresh, painterly and full of character.

“Sailing imagery naturally lends itself to interiors because it suggests freedom, fresh air and space to breathe. Regatta season may be full of energy and tradition, but visually it also has a peaceful quality.

“Boats, water and soft coastal tones can help a home feel more restful, while still adding a sense of story and quiet sophistication.”

Each fine art print replicates original artwork hand-painted by Brian in acrylic. Offering depth of colour, layered texture and visible brushstrokes, this painterly effect ensures a striking finish, highlighting the intricacies of each piece.

Brian said: “Artwork has a huge influence on how a room feels, and coastal-inspired pieces can bring a wonderfully calm, uplifting quality to a space. The acrylic finish gives each design a more artistic, hand-painted feel, so the pieces have depth and texture rather than feeling flat or overly polished.

“They work beautifully in living rooms, hallways, bedrooms or relaxed dining spaces where homeowners want to introduce colour, personality and a subtle connection to the coast.”

The Regatta Collection is available now from Beach House Art, with prices starting at £49 for a framed print.
