Moon Launch New ECCENTRIC Fabric Range

Moon fabrics in a sitting room setting

Launching 17th February 2023, this collection is a doff of the hat to the designers, artists and individuals who established the rather charming English Eccentric style and made it what it is today.

From soft, muted pastels inspired by watercolours right through to striking heraldic shades, the colour palette of this collection is quintessentially English through and through.

Much like the eclectic and often clashing interiors we have taken our inspiration from, the range features a variety of stripes, checks, geometrics and plains interlinked by colour and unconventional pairings.

Unleash your inner eccentric with the timeless charm of English Eccentric style. This quirky and unique aesthetic is all about embracing individuality, breaking the mould, and creating a home that is uniquely yours. Whether you’re drawn to bold patterns, whimsical accessories, or a mix of vintage and modern pieces.

From over-the-top wallpaper to bold, bright furniture, Eccentric style is all about making a statement and having fun with your decor. Eccentric by Moon allows you to embrace your individuality and create a space that truly reflects your personality.

All of the Moon luxury woollen furnishing fabrics are created at their fully vertical mill in Guiseley, Yorkshire. From there, they control all production processes; dyeing and blending the raw wool fibres, spinning the mélange yarns, warping, weaving, and then finishing the fabrics. Founded in 1837 and with roots in fashion, they are one of the last remaining vertical woollen mills in Great Britain, with a reputation for consistent quality and innovative design.

Their unique ranges for both domestic furnishings and contract projects can be found everywhere from traditional British retailers to 5-star hotels, and even 10 Downing Street. The name Moon is now synonymous with wool interior fabrics; no other brand specialises in wool and brings out its luxury and benefits in quite the same way.
