In the heart of London’s iconic Battersea Power Station, Red Deer has ingeniously transformed a previously windowless area into Arcade Battersea—a culinary haven uniting a diverse array of 13 cuisines.

This marks the second installment of the Arcade concept in the city, following the footsteps of the immensely popular original Arcade food hall near Tottenham Court Road. The Battersea establishment boasts ample seating for 500 patrons and pledges to present an assorted selection, ranging from comforting Hong Kong cuisine and authentic Italian gelato to exquisite sushi, vibrant Nepali street fare, and flavorful Middle Eastern shawarma.

Overcoming the challenge of designing within an ill-lit space situated amidst the power station’s turbine halls, Red Deer employed a vintage visual aesthetic. The London-based studio skillfully incorporated retro hues of cream, red, and brown, while utilizing patterned tiles to embellish the flooring and delineate distinct stalls.
