The Baked Tile Company Champions ‘Imperfect Magic’ in New Tile Launches

British tile specialist The Baked Tile Company is putting authenticity in the spotlight as it launches two new tile collections.

Introducing Baked Real Terracotta Parquet and Baked Real Zellige White.

Embracing variation, texture and subtle irregularity, Baked Real Terracotta Parquet and Baked Real Zellige White weave imperfect magic into walls and floors.

Baked Real Terracotta Parquet tiles are bursting with warmth and character, with tonal shifts and surface variations that bring depth and softness to floors.

Meanwhile, Baked Real Zellige White channels centuries-old Moroccan craftsmanship, with gently uneven edges and a glaze that dances between matt and glossy to create movement across walls.

Lesley Taylor, Founder of The Baked Tile Company, said: “These tiles are all about authenticity and variation is part of their charm. The subtle differences in tone, texture and finish are what gives them life and ensures every installation feels unique.”

With both new collections, layout plays a huge role in the finished look. The elongated Terracotta Parquet tile works beautifully when laid in a herringbone style, adding rhythm and warmth to kitchens, hallways and living spaces.

The smaller, square Zellige tiles are striking when installed with no spacers, which allows the tile’s natural, uneven edges to create the classic undulating surface Zellige is known for.

Lesley said: “When you’re working with tiles like these, simplicity is often best. Let the material do the talking and avoid overcomplicating the design with too many competing elements.”

Lesley added: “These tiles suit a relaxed mindset. If you embrace the imperfections rather than fight them, the end result feels timeless, tactile and full of character.”

Both Baked Real Zellige White and Baked Real Terracotta Parquet tiles are available now from The Baked Tile Company. Baked Real Zellige White is priced at £129 per m2 and Baked Real Terracotta Parquet is priced at £59.02 per m2.
