From Terrazzo Touches to Fluted Finishes – The Soothing Six Redefines Relaxed Living

Independent tile specialist Porcelain Superstore is redefining interior tranquillity this spring with the launch of six new tile collections.

Dubbed the Soothing Six, the collection of Japandi-inspired tiles ooze serenity and calm, and are ideal for those looking to inject a sense of optimism into the home.

Inspired by terrazzo, Solace Cream boasts fine natural flecks that catch the light and offer real surface appeal. Its gentle sheen reflects light beautifully, helping smaller rooms feel brighter and warmer, and it works effortlessly with wood, stone and brushed metal finishes.

Its ribbed counterpart, Solace Cream Fluted, will give walls a strong architectural feel, while its vertical grooves will catch natural light and amplify the sense of space.

Livia Ivory is inspired by pale vein-cut stone and offers soft detailing and gentle colour variation, giving the tile a natural, relaxed look. It is also available with a Décor finish, where softly shaped brick reliefs and an understated travertine-effect base will add eye-catching character to walls, while keeping the overall look calm.

Adele Pearl is a refined porcelain tile inspired by the soft beauty of Taj Mahal quartzite. It’s designed for spaces that favour light, balance and a more understated, high-end feel. Its pearly off-white base is layered with pale veining and gentle clouded movement, creating depth without strong contrast. The result is a surface that feels considered and well judged, rather than showy.

With its softly carved lines running through the pearly surface, Adele Pearl Fluted has just enough texture to catch the eye without making a big statement. They can be used horizontally or vertically to suit any space.

Abbas Youssefi, Managing Director of Porcelain Superstore, said: “There is a growing desire among homeowners to carve out space where they can switch off from the demands of modern life. Each of these tile collections have been handpicked to bring a sense of calm to busy homes.

“From the beautiful muted shades and soft detailing to the luxurious finish, these understated beauties will help create soothing sanctuaries.”  The ‘Soothing Six’ are available now from Porcelain Superstore, with prices starting at £42.50 per m2.
