Forget fresh flowers this Valentine’s Day. Coastal-inspired art studio Beach House Art has put a timeless spin on all things floral in two new contemporary art collections.
Fusing antique botanical artwork with bold backdrops, the new collections make perfect gifts for those who prefer florals that will never wilt or fade.
The first collection pairs classic depictions of foxglove, narcissus and cornflower against marine blue, yellow sand, coral pink and black block colourways.
Brian MacShane, Creative Director of Beach House Art, said: “The striking juxtaposition between the ethereal delicacy of the florals and the commanding block of colour is what makes this collection really special.
“The injection of colour ensures these pieces will look right at home in more modern properties, while the classical depictions of the florals brings a classical touch. It is a truly versatile collection that will never date.”
For those who wish to gift their loved one a traditional red rose, Beach House Art’s second new collection is perfect.
This new range takes vintage rose prints and frames them with a refined striped border. The collection is made up of three different rose prints paired with pink or olive green stripes.
Brian added: “Stripes not only bring a touch of playfulness to these pieces but beautifully frame the vintage rose prints, allowing the elegance of the flower to take centre stage.
“The end result is timeless artwork that brings calm, romantic character to modern interior schemes.”
Both new collections are available now from Beach House Art, with prices starting at £18.
